LACY TOWNSHIP HONORS LOCAL AUTHOR AND DEMENTIA AWARENESS ADVOCATE
Mayor Peter Curatolo and the Township Committee recently presented a Proclamation recognizing the impact of dementia on individuals, families, and caregivers. The recognition highlights the importance of raising awareness about neurocognitive disorders, especially in our senior community.
"We are honored to have one of our own write about such an important topic, particularly here at home, where many of our seniors are affected by neurocognitive disorders," said Mayor Curatolo.

Local author Andra Napoleon shared her personal experience of caring for her mother, shedding light on the challenges faced by families and caregivers. In her book, Andra offers a valuable list of resources for those seeking help and support.

"Well done, Andra. Lacey Township is proud of you!" Mayor Curatolo added.
